Bifold Doors Torquay
Creating a thermally efficient house through the use of double and triple glazed Sunflex products
This building was originally used as an airbase and shelter during WWII by the USAF 381st Bombardment Group. The Gray family, who own this building, took it as a fantastic opportunity to build a new house on an old site - making full use of modern materials and modern installations.
The architecture of the house was required to echo the airbase and was the primary driver of the design.
This WWII Air Base was transformed into a beautiful, open-plan living farmhouse using quality Sunflex products, including double and triple glazed windows from Sunflex to create a very thermally efficient house. This was one of the main ideas behind the farmhouse.
