Window Installers Torquay
Job Vacancies
Here at Devonshire Windows, we are an ever-expanding business. We are now recruiting! We are offering an exciting opportunity for window and door installers. As a team that is proud of their work, we are on the lookout for someone who is also proud of the work that they provide.
Full-time, permanent employed position | Torbay, Devon
Due to continued demand for our products and services, we are looking for an experienced window and door installer to join our growing team.
We are a busy, established company carrying out some high-quality and often challenging projects, from premium domestic window installations to large bifold and sliding door projects. No two jobs are quite the same, and we take real pride in the quality of our work.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, practical and takes pride in doing a job properly. You will be given the right tools and support, but we need someone who can work confidently, think for themselves and find solutions when things don't always go exactly to plan.
The role
You will be involved in the installation and servicing of:
- High-end premium windows and doors
- Bifold doors
- Large sliding doors
- Timber, aluminium and PVCu products
- Bespoke and more technically challenging installations
- Repair and remedial work
Our projects are predominantly domestic and range from straightforward replacements to high-end properties where attention to detail and a high standard of finish are essential.
Who we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Good experience and knowledge of window and door installation
- A genuine pride in their workmanship
- A can-do attitude and the ability to find solutions to problems
- Good attention to detail and a desire to get things right
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to work within the Torbay and surrounding Devon area
We would also be very happy to consider someone with a wider construction background – for example, a skilled carpenter, joiner, builder or general tradesperson – who has the practical ability and attitude we are looking for.
Experience is important, but the right attitude, practical ability and pride in your work are just as important to us.
What we offer
This is a full-time, fully employed position.
We are a very busy company with a strong order book and plenty of work ahead. We work on some excellent projects and install products where quality, care and attention to detail really matter.
If you are an experienced fitter, or a skilled tradesperson looking to develop your experience in high-end window and door installation, we'd like to hear from you.
Only applicants who take pride in their work, have a can-do attitude and are prepared to get stuck in need apply.
